Rude Boy: Get That Ska Look

So lately i've been noticing that the Ska look is gaining momentum which is fine by me. Ska first originated as a hybrid of reggae jazz and r&b. Along with the slew of banging jams Ska also brought along a fresh new style. Mainly consisting of selvedge denim cuffed intricately along with fitted bombers and quirky nerd specs the heads noticed. Lets have a look at at how you too can pat down the Signature Look.

As we all know Junya Watanabe has created a collection for the ever exclusive COMME des GARÇONS. A regular contributer to Commes. Junya has named the collection " W Name". Drawing inspiration from Hunters and Fisherman's the collection also gives off an Old english vibe. Junya has truly created a classic collection, not that I would expect anything less.

Man Gets A Play Cloths Tat

I thought i was a consumerist whore but homie right here takes the cake. That is the Play Cloths logo tatted on his abdomen. Either this young man was heavily inebriated or he is straight off his rocker He didn't even get the small jack logo like on the polos, he went all out and got the XXL jack on himself. Hit that man with some tee’s, TTCD bootleg or something… dude is crazy

REAS for Stussy “Wayback Throwback” Collection Feature

I have on occasion proclaimed the death of Stussy with their recent collections being stale and Stussy seemingly being the go to gear for lames. However one can never count out the originators of streetwear and here Stussy comes correct with their Wayback Throwback set. So while Stussy may not be the creative powerhouse they once were they obviously have life in them yet.

Lanvin - Cruise 2010

So I know this site is mostly dedicated to streetwear and sneakers for men but I really couldn't help myself on this one.
Easily one of my favourite designers , Alber Elbaz brings another collection so beautifully done. His cruise line 2010 is exotic, quirky and still screams luxury.

ACNE - Spring 2010

Acne is one of those clothing companies that consistently delivers great styles of clothing season after season and their Spring 2010 comes through once again. With this collection they are pushing the envelope in trend-setting (mind you not everyone can pull all these looks off) but they also manage to showcase a variety of basics too. From slouchy trousers to waistcoats to t-shirts there's something for all the true sartorialists out there. Ohhh and check out the sneakers too , might I say they're looking pretty fresh to me.

YSL Spring/Summer 2010

Every year YSL brings out a conceptual video to showcase it's new line. This time around the video revolves around the idea of an 11 year old who finds a key to a hotel room in which he discovers the world of adults. The star of the film Jules is the son of the director Sam Benchetrit. It's simplicity is what makes this video real cool.

I am really unsure of the direction that BBC is taking. This upcoming season will be available July 1st at all BBc accounts that includes Livestock but its really hit and miss they have some great looking stuff and some really hideous looking pieces.
