Colette X Timberland

Funny that I just came across these today. Earlier on I was reading this blog post by Combat jack in which he stated that timberlands are dead . All of us here completely agreed with the sentiment. They've been dead for awhile now. Now now I must confess that back in High school i rocked a pair of Timbs , I must've been one of the few girls in our school who did, but rock em' I did. Maybe it's because I suffer a bit from Napoleon Complex but Timbs always had a way of making me feel empowered. I was a definite empowered GEEk with my Timbs on. Eventually I grew out of that phase and timbs for me personally have remained buried ever since. Now today I came across these. As we all know Colette is one of the top of line street wear brands out there and they have decided to do a collabo with Timbs. the boots come in your typical beige timberland colour accented with blue and are tagged with Collette on the tongue. So I must ask " Is colette the defibrillator that timberland needs? What do you think ?
